18C runcluvfy failed with ERROR: PRKC-1032 : Directory does not exist

Cluster verification utility failed as it checking old grid home

./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n dbhost1,dbhost2 -verbose

ERROR: PRKC-1032 : Directory /u01/app/grid/11.2.0.4 does not exist

ERROR:PRKC-1032 : Directory /u01/app/grid/11.2.0.4 does not exist

Cause:

The OUI / Installer is detecting the references for earlier installed GI home. Due to the previous failed GI / ASM installation and GI / ASM as it was not removed or cleaned up.

 

Solution:

Remove any references for GI Home /u01/app/grid/11.2.0.4

Delete the below files:

/var/tmp/.oracle
/etc/oracle/ocr.loc and /etc/oracle/olr.loc files.
